How do I get tickets? How much are they?
Tickets can be purchased online starting October 15th, 2019 and at the UQSM ticket booth on opening day May 2nd, 2019. Cost depends on how many days you will be attending. Ticket booth will open 9:30AM everyday.
Are coupons available?
We do have $2 coupon off Admission available On the website, go to show information and then to discount coupons
Can I purchase quilts at the show?
Yes! We have a Charity Auction where you can purchase beautiful quilts made by talented designers who share their time and expertise to produce gorgeous one-of-a-kind quilts.

Have you ever wanted to listen to a real cowboy auctioneer? Have you ever wanted to feel the thrill of bidding against others for a quilt? Do you have a the need to help the less fortunate? Then come to our Charity Auction for Sew Much Hope. Quilts can be previewed Thursday and Friday, May 2nd and 3rd, in the Marketplace. In 2017 our auction raised over $10,000 and 100% of this money went to Sew Much Hope. The minimum bid starts at $175. You can read all about Sew Much hope here or on their website www.sewmuchhope.org
UQSM 2018 Class and Registration Clarification
Class Registration and Information
A) The class registration fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $15 required to order classes. There is a late fee of $10 after April 21st.
Each student to register for classes requires this fee, in order to keep accurate student lists; each student MUST register and order their classes individually.
B) When adding additional classes to your original order, additional registration fees will NOT be incurred.
C) Class registrants will receive a three‐day show admission badge ($36 value)
D) Please do not order more than 1 (one) of each of any class and/or registration on the same order.
Full classes are listed as “sold out”.
What is Spool School?

Do you want to learn the art of quilting and sewing? If you are new to sewing and want to know more, this is the perfect place to start. We have beginning sewing classes including, quilting, bags, clothing and embroidery. These classes will be taught by our 2019 UQSM instructors who have a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing what they know. The class size is limited to 12 students only.
How do I sign up for Spool School?
Register with all the other attendees by looking at the class selection in Spool School. Register and pay for the classes you would like. When you arrive at UQSM you will receive a name badge. Your class fee and kit fee are all included in the class price. You must still pay the $15 registration fee that allows you to get into the marketplace all 3 days. There is a late fee of $10 after April 21st.

What is the Lecture Series?
Time: Various Times
Date: Wednesday, May 1 through Saturday, May 4, 2019
Location: Front Classrooms of the Mountain America Expo Center
The lecture series is an additional educational classroom opportunity to learn and be educated with national and well renowned designers and instructors who share their stories and ideas about the quilting and sewing world. You will purchase a one- time ticket for $125 plus the class registration fee of $15. You will have access to 9 different Lecture Series classes. When you register for classes you can see the 9 classes available. If you were to register for all these classes it would cost you $230. This is a large savings and a great way to come and enjoy our show and further your education.
Can I bring a stroller?
Strollers are allowed in the Marketplace.
Can I bring a Rolling Cart?
You can bring a rolling cart to wheel your class supplies to and from your vehicle and classroom. Rolling carts are not allowed in the Marketplace.

All hands‐on classes will have machines provided by the classroom machine sponsors. There is no need to bring your personal sewing machine. There are no machine rentals.
Machines Provided by the following sponsors: Bernina, Brother, Baby Lock, Handi Quilter, Gammill, Innova, Grace Company and Janome.
Additional classes can be added at any time on the website.
The $15 registration fee is a one-time fee per person before April 21st. Starting April 22nd the one time registration fee will be $25. Please ensure that you use the same email address and phone number that you used when you paid your registration fee. Classes may also be added at the show, if they are still available.
~The one-time registration fee is not refundable or transferable~
UQSM cancellation policy will offer everyone a refund based off both the date they registered along with the proximity of time to May 1st, 2019, the first day of classes. Review the rates below.
- Within 10 days of registering except after Wednesday, April 11, 2019…100% of class fees paid
- Before Monday, January 1, 2019…75% of class fees paid
- Before Wednesday, February 28, 2019...50% of class fees paid
- Before Thursday April 21, 2019…25% of class fees paid
- No refunds will be issued after April 21, 2019. NO exceptions under any circumstances.
-Registrations made after Wednesday, April 11, 2019 will not qualify for a refund if canceled after 10 days.
Please remember the dates for refunds and cancellations.
Transferring to a new class:
If an attendee would like to transfer from one class to another there will be a $5 transfer fee. If the class, which the attendee is transferring to, is more than the class transferring from, the attendee will be responsible for the difference in price in addition to the $5 transfer fee. If the opposite occurs, a refund will be given minus the $5 transfer fee. The registration date is the earliest date of the transaction - not the date of the transfer.
You can purchase admission tickets to the show online or at the ticket booth when you arrive at the show. They are Non-refundable.
Refunds at the Show:
Utah Quilting & Sewing Marketplace will not allow any refunds after the cancellation date. If you are dissatisfied with a class, please email us no later than three hours after the class is finished. You will be contacted about your class experience after the conclusion of the show.
